Aranyani focuses on the enhancement of the livelihood of rural communities through natural resource management .The objective is to build the adaptive capacities of communities to climate change through improvement , stabilization , and conservation of natural resources, mainly soils , to minimize  the risk of climate change and to increase the productivity and income of communities living in watersheds . The program encompasses 1335.87 hectares of land divided into two water sheds and six villages in the Reamal block of hte Deogarh district .
