Sambandh’s Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for students (18+) and young professionals from diverse backgrounds, locally or internationally, to join our organization for a month or more. Participants exchange skills and experiences during their internship and gain hands-on exposure to Sambandh’s work. Each intern is assigned a mentor who provides guidance and practical experience in various thematic fields, tailored to their interests and the organization’s needs.
Internship assignments vary in length according to the intern’s availability, academic requirements, and Sambandh’s needs. While internships are unpaid, exceptional candidates may be eligible for out-of-pocket allowances and accommodation.
We offer four types of internships: year-round general volunteering, summer or winter internships (1 month), internships to meet course requirements (as and when necessary), and long-term internships.
Interns can look forward to learning through community engagement, exchanging ideas and skills with disadvantaged youth, partnering in implementing social entrepreneurship schemes, gaining first-hand development management experience, building social research, analysis, and advocacy skills, sharpening their leadership and entrepreneurial skills, and having preference for full-time opportunities at Sambandh if available.
We hope that our Internship Program provides a meaningful and rewarding experience for all participants, and we look forward to welcoming future interns to Sambandh .
